Abstract
This essay contends that Kanagawa residents often report their birthplace by municipality rather than by prefecture—motivated by local identity, avoidance of being assumed from Yokohama, and a propensity for precise (even apologetic) geographic clarification.
横浜市民は出身を「横浜」と答えがちネタは有名だけど、そもそも神奈川県民全般的にそうだよねという話。結論から言うとこれは大体あてはまる思う。
- 各エリアのキャラ立ち具合が強い
- 地元が好きな人が多い(東京よりは地元の人率が比較的多め)
- 全国区で通じる地名が多い
- 人口が多いと仲間意識や帰属意識が細分化しやすい
などが理由かと。ちなみに神奈川に村があるのかというと1つある(清川村)。
