ビョークの母親が亡くなる少し前に書かれた曲。この後に続く"Ancestress"が明るい葬列なのに比べると、ストレートに悲しみに満ちた追悼です。彼女自身の母親だけでなく、一般的な「母」という存在を賛美するのは、近年とくに顕著な方向性でもあります。クワイアは、かつてビョークも所属し、ツアーにも帯同しているハムラリッド合唱団によるもの。
